I chose to the title to be big and bold .I wanted it to be black because it stands out from the other bright colours that i have used. It also matches the uniform that the students in the picture are wearing.The colour of the front matches the title ,I have done this because if i had yellow text then it would be hard to read and will be to bright .The font of the text is not the same as the title because i wanted the title to stand out and it defeats the object if the text is the same as the title.I did want to text bold to stand out and to make it easy for the audience to read, and also so it attracts the audience.

I tried to use the colour some colours on my magazine that match the school uniform.I did not want to use all of the colours because it does not stand out enough and does not look like it would attract the audience.So i chose red and yellow to be the main colours, because yellow is a colour of the uniform that the lower school wear and read attracts both genders.I couldn't choose blue or pink because it would only attract one kind of gender and this magazine is for both female and male so i chose red because it is not classes as a 'feminine' or 'masculine' colour.



I chose two people to be on the front cover, one male and one female so it also attracts both kinds of gender.I chose this picture because the magazine is about examinations and revision and i thought that this would be an appropriate picture to use for a front cover to give out the message of what this magazine is mainly about.

I did not put too much information about what is in the magazine so that people would want to look in the magazine to see what is in it .I also used the school logo so that it is familiar to the students of Biddulph High School.
