I used the same colours as the front cover of the magazine.I did this so that it all matched and so that nothing looked out of place.Also because i didn't want to use any colours such as pink or blue because it could attract one kind of audience such as if i put pink on my pages it would look more like a female magazine then a magazine that is suited for both types of gender.Also if i was made to make further pages i could make certain titles or headlines that i might want to make stand out in a another bright colour or a different one to black,red and yellow to attract the readers attention. I used the same font as the title on the front cover because i thought it would look suitable , because it stands out so that the audience would know that this was the contents page and also it suits the 'special edition' font because they are both very bold and eye catching, also it suits for a school magazine because it isn't any kind of fancy lettering , then again it isn't too big and bold. I also used this font and text because it match's the black in some of the pictures on my contents page.items like the black clothing and the black text on the 'tips' paper.

I used these three pictures on my contents page because they all send out a clear message , you can clearly see that these pictures have something to do with exams or revision or stress which is what my magazine is mainly about.I only used three pictures because i didn't want to fill up my first page because i would want people to carry on looking through my magazine ,so i didn't want to put everything on the front page , so i put a few pictures on the contents to give them a brief idea whats inside so that they would want to carry on looking through the magazine. I left it as a plain background so that the page didn't seem too busy and so that it looked dull and boring. I wanted my pages to look more fun than a normal school magazine.
