Analysing Contents Covers



This magazine doesn’t give out a strong message of what it is about, I think that it is a gift magazine simple because it says ‘gift focus’ but this is a bad example of what I don’t want my magazine to look like. The colours are pale and don’t stand out to catch the readers attention, there is also a lot of information stored on this contents page. I cant clearly think what audience this magazine is aimed for.

the items in the pictures contain a lot of colours which match’s how they have used colour for the words on the contents page. The colour of the title ‘ contents ‘ match’s the border colour on the left side. I think that this colour is too pale and you cant clearly read the word’ contents’. I personally think it should be a bolder colour so it can be clearly read and to make the contents page more vibrant. The colourful lettering contrasts against the background of the magazine because it is a white background against brightly coloured lettering.
