Analysing a magazine:

Master heading
Leona Lewis’ head is in front of the master heading, but still we know what the magazine is called. This is becuase the magazine has the same font and style on every magazine that they publish so the regular customers know exactly what there looking for.

Colours
Some of the words such as ‘songs’and‘sub pop’ have the same colour writing as the master heading. This is so that the colours match, also Leona Lewis’ dress is the same colour as some of the text this is also to ensure that all the colours match.

Stand out effects
The clothes that Leona Lewis is wearing contrast with the background of magazine for a stand out effect. Also the words ‘ LEONA LEWIS’ are the second largest letters on the page this makes this sub heading stand out to catch the customers attention.
