Analysing a magazine:

Main Picture
Rihanna is the main picture on this magazine, she is dressed in black, this makes her stand out from the magazine, ad because rihanna is a familiar face this makes the magazine recognisable and fashionable and a must have magazine because if some one who no one knows was on front of a magazine it would be less fashionable then if someone famous was on the front. This also hints to us that it’s a fashion magazine because this photo is a mid shot, so this means that the magazine wants us to be focusing on her clothes and this is so we can see what she is wearing. Also the black clothing contrasts with the grey/light brown background so this gives the clothes a stand out effect.



Colours
the colour of the righting match’s the master heading (white) mainly, and some of the righting is black which match’s the black dress, but there are some words in red righting this makes these certain sub titles stand out because red is the only vibrant colour on the front of this magazine which stands out.
