This is my final front cover. I have kept to white for the colour of the text because i didn't want the magazine to be too bright because i was trying to fit in with the genre. I have used a male on the picture so i had to appeal to both genders so i decided to advertise the double page spread(boys vs girls) on the front cover so that my front cover would appeal to more than one gender.I have used an amplifier in the background to hint to the audience that it is a music magazine. I have also kept my title simple. I decided to put the male on the picture in front of the title because this is a conventional methods that most magazines do . The title of my magazine is MAM, which means mad about music. I used the word music in the abbreviation so that the audience will definitely know it is a music magazine. There is no point in advertising a magazine if the audience don't know what the genre is. I also added a bar code and a price on the front because this is what the majority of other magazines do. i tried to keep my front cover conventional as possible. Expect on the box which explains what inside the magazine. I messed around with the functions on fireworks to make it look unconventional so it stands out more because if people recognise a popular band they might want to look at the magazine and buy it. I put my magazine at £3.00 because when i went into a shop and looked at the prices of the music magazine they were all based around £3 some of them were more expensive because they were more well known. I have also used a guitar on the front cover as well so that it fits in with the genre. Overall i am pleased with my front cover because it looks kind of professional . If i was to do it again i would of used a different picture so that i could experiment with different bands instead of just using one picture.
